In a recent social media post, Kevin Garnett voices his frustration regarding a 23-year-old Pelicans star.

In a recent ?X? post of ?SHOWTIME Basketball?, former Boston Celtics superstar and teammate Paul Pierce says, ?They?re going to probably limit Zion?s minutes.?.

Kevin Garnett immediately reacts, ?You think so? What are we doing? Man…What the f**k?? To which Paul Pierce replies, ?He injured. He been injured all these years.?

Kevin Garnett then says, ?Lord, he just been out like 8 years. He ain?t healed yet?! Mother****** is 20 something man?he?s not 90!? Paul Pierce then adds, ?Have you noticed that this new generation heals slower than us?

Garnett sighs in frustration as he says, ?Man, I don?t know what the f*** going on. I don?t want to hear that shit. And on top of it, we was practicing. Lot of people don?t know this dawg.?

 

The 15-time All-Star further explains, ?They need to leave the doctors out of this sh*t. That?s the problem.? He claims that the doctors have a role to play in an NBA player?s paranoia about their injury.?

Zion Williamson on potentially getting less playing time ?

Kevin Garnett, further talking about the ?over-involvement? of doctors, says, ?Man I don?t want to hear that sh*t. I just did 21 years (NBA career) with two heart murmurs man. I don?t want to hear that sh*t. Get the f**k out of here, Doc?Doc can?t stop you from playing, you stop. Simply like that.?

Playing for the first time after his hamstring injury towards the end of the last NBA season, Zion Williamson makes a strong comeback in the new NBA season. In the New Orleans Pelicans? most recent win over the New York Knicks (96-87), Williamson scored 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists in only 28 minutes (his playing minutes).

In his game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Zion Williamson led his team to a 111-104 victory with 23 points and seven rebounds in 32 minutes of playtime.

Despite these impressive and efficient statistics, and the incredible buzzer-beater against Orlando in the preseason, many wonder if Zion will play a full game without triggering his previous injury. Only time will tell.
