Symphony Hall, Springfield is bustling with basketball stars. As the induction ceremony is the new talk of the town, NBA fans and players are bumbling with emotions to witness their favorite players and coaches welcoming the elevated encomium. Entering “the Hall of Fame ” is the pursuit of every basketball player. It is the highest recognition the game offers. 2023’s enshrinement ceremony was all glory as it honored 11 greats of the sport, including former Miami Heat star, Dwyane Wade. While Wade’s family and friends showed up to support him, there was one big name missing: LeBron James.

James and Wade have been great friends ever since they entered the league together in 2003. They even teamed up to form one of the greatest duos the game has ever seen. So it was surprising to see the King not accompanying Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul for Wade’s big night.

Former ESPN analyst Rachel Nichols posted a reel featuring Wade, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony. “The #Brotherhood shows out for Dwyane Wade at the Hof,” and “Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul helping make Dwyane Wade’s @hoophall induction special” was the caption. Wade even shared this reel via his Instagram story.

A picture of James, Anthony, and Paul having fun on a banana boat back in 2015 shook the internet. While Wade wasn’t on the boat with them, he joined the trio on vacation with their families. They’ve since been known as the banana boat crew.
