Despite the fact that it has been over 20 years since the Chicago Bulls legend retired from professional basketball, he continues to be one of the most memorable names attached to the sport. A recent incident that was meant to be a complimentary act for His Airness? on-court prowess has generated some mixed responses from fans on social media. Many of them took to the comments section to express their anger.

Leading his team to six NBA championships and becoming the Finals MVP in each of them, Jordan created a legacy that made him a favorite amongst NBA fans and enthusiasts.

Onlookers make ‘Goat Sounds’ at Michael Jordan

A recent video featured Michael taking a stroll on the sidewalk during his recent trip to Italy. A few pedestrians saw the legend and started following him from behind. As they were doing so, they also started making bleat sounds to mimic a goat. Given the fact that Jordan has been affiliated with the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) title for quite some time now, the actions of the pedestrians were possibly meant to be taken as nothing short of a compliment.

Even though Jordan was facing ahead the entire time, his head turned for a few minutes and viewers could catch a smile forming on the 60-year-old’s face. Michael Jordan has been enjoying his stay in Italy for quite some time now.

 

Accompanied by his wife, Yvette Prieto, the 14x NBA All-Star has been captured alongside Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson and renowned Hollywood actor Samuel L Jackson as they too enjoy everything that the breathtaking European country has to offer them. The tweet generated over 593800 views in just a few hours. Many people took to the comments section to share their reactions regarding the same.

Fans don’t appreciate Michael Jordan getting heckled

The intentions of Jordan?s fans might have been in the right place. A certain individual, however, didn?t think it right to disrespect the NBA icon like this. He retweeted the video and wrote ?Grown men doing this without a license, what happened to shame?.

He also attached a video in the same response, highlighting TNT co-hosts Shaquille O?Neal and Charles Barkley laughing at each other over an incident that transpired.

Other people followed suit, carrying the same belief that Jordan was being disrespected in the video. They wrote, ?Don?t even ask for a picture just follow him around with a camera!?, ?Post real news?, ?This annoying as hell lmaooo,? etc.

The video was used as an opportunity by NBA enthusiasts to bring back the famous Michael Jordan-LeBron James GOAT debate. One couldn?t go through the comments section without finding quotes like ?they thought he was Bron,???This isn?t Lebron why would they make goat sounds,???That’s not LeBron James,? etc.

One individual reshared a video on his Tweet, highlighting why Jordan deserves to be getting the praise. He captioned it, ?got that it factor.?
