The biggest story coming out of the NBA world and entertainment might very well have been a marketing ploy. Just before Valentine’s weekend, news of a potential split between Larsa Pippen and her beau made the rounds. With Instagram hijinks galore, it seemed like the two had truly gone their separate ways. Further, questions about the involvement of Michael Jordan and his family were seen as major question marks too. But, according to one RHOM co-star, the entire split was nothing more than a means to grab more eyeballs.
Both Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton were never fully convinced of the couple’s breakup. Their major source of contention was seeing the two together on Valentine’s Day just days after seemingly making their split official. It was Marysol who brought up the idea of MJ and his family interfering in the couple’s matters.
However, the highly public nature of their VD program led her in a different direction. “Now that other things have come to light, I’m starting to feel like we’ve all been scammed.” Alexia, for her part, has no love lost for her former “best friend.”

She believes that both Marcus and Larsa were “in cahoots,” and arranged for the paparazzi to get pictures of their outing. “I see the flowers, the paparazzi photos, I was like, ‘Oh my God. Is she playing all of us?’ That upsets me.” Patton, on her part, was fully in agreement with her co-star’s assessment. “It was so staged because, first of all, nobody even cares. Everybody knows it’s staged…and this is why we’re even talking about it because it’s so ridiculous at this point.”

Larsa Pippen continues to mount issues on RHOM
The latest to join that list was Alexia, and this interview with People might be her way of answering back. Alongside guest star Kiki Bahr, due to their comments against her and her gifted jewelry, got a fiery response from the 49-year-old.
That anger may have led Nepola to further stir the plot. The 56-year-old would question if the entire relationship was a publicity stunt. Marysol, for her part, wouldn’t put the idea out of question. “I have to tell you, it’s crossed my mind, now this happened…Now that I’m looking at the whole thing and the timing and everything – and I was a publicist – this smells like a scam.”
