“Wash Your A**”: Shaquille O’Neal Drops Bizarre Verdict on Charles Barkley’s Illness

The NBA world was a bit worried two days ago. The reason was Charles Barkley‘s sudden exit from Thursday’s Inside the NBA show. While the fans expressed their concerns over Sir Charles’ health, his good friend Shaquille O’Neal saw it as an opportunity to pull his leg. And that is exactly what Shaq did.

Even now, he is not willing to let Barkley off the hook. On a recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaq poked fun at a fellow Hall of Famer, using his grandma’s advice as a reference.

It started with Shaq coughing a few times at the beginning of the episode. This immediately made him think of Chuck as he was working with him and Chuck was visibly ill. However, Ernie Johnson clarified that Sir Charles has a non-covid illness. But, can anything really stop the Big Man from messing with his brother from another mother? The answer is no. So he quickly went into making fun of Barkley even if it meant him bringing up his grandmother’s stories to lay ground for his punchlines.

Shaq mentioned his grandmother on the podcast, saying “She was a very wise woman”. He said, “My grandma always used to say, if you wash your a** and if you wash your hands, you won’t get sick”. Seems like Chuck was not doing either of the routines and Shaq agrees. When asked about which one of these Barkley didn’t do, Shaq, with a wide smile on his face, said, “Wash his a**”. The message is clear from the 4x NBA champion, Sir Charles better do that if he wishes to not be sick at the age of 60.

Shaq didn’t stop there, he went on to unveil that Barkley doesn’t wear underwear. Although it is not exactly a new piece of information as Sir Charles confessed it during his appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show 5 years ago. However, for Shaq, anything works if it ends up with him embarrassing his friend in front of people.

On the last episode of Inside the NBA, Barkley was seen suffering from a cold. Despite that, he was adamant about finishing the show like a true professional. However, he was forced by his co-hosts to go home and get some rest. For his own good, Barkley had to agree and left the show midway. As of now, all we know is that there is nothing to worry about regarding his health and Chuck’s comeback can be expected on the next show.
