Shaquille O’Neal has never feared voicing the truth. Or speaking up for what he thinks is right. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has once again chosen his side on a hot topic involving $80 million American rapper Cardi B. However, what’s surprising is, this comes just a few months after Shaq showed support to the musician after the Grammy awards fiasco earlier this year. A drama behind the stage involving Cardi B and two other Rap icons hit the internet and went viral.

While many did not like Cardi B “arguing”, the LA legend decided to side with her. Now another controversial ‘attack’ by Cardi B has created a ruckus on the internet. Once again Big Diesel has shown his support!

O’Neal stands up to support rapper Cardi B

Cardi B is one of the most happening rappers on the internet right now. The 2019 Rap Album Winner has had great moments at the Grammy’s, including 9 nominations! Unfortunately, things went sideways this February. A segment of the Grammys involved a remembrance for the late rap star Takeoff. According to reports, Quavo did not want Offset to be a part of the tribute to their late friend. 

A video of Cardi B screaming, “Both Of Y’all Wrong This Is Not Right…No b*****, shut the f**k up” hit the internet the same day. 

Many came to the conclusion that the 30-year-old was screaming at her husband Offset, and his cousin, Quavo. However, Shaq set the trend then of standing in Cardi’s corner. A trend he has continued this week. 

Now, another video of Cardi B throwing a mic at a fan for tossing a drink all over her dress has gone viral on the internet. In the meanwhile, Shaq shared the video to his Instagram story to show his support for the $80 million rapper. 

In it, a fan can clearly be seen chucking a drink at Cardi while she performs on stage. The 30-year-old rapper looks shocked for a second. But then she snaps. Immediately, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus takes the microphone she was holding at swings it at the rude fan.

The post that Shaq shared on his story had the caption, “Cardi B was not taking the disrespect.”

What did Shaquille O’Neal say about the Grammy’s incident?

It is a known fact that Shaquille O’Neal and Cardi B have had interactions previously both on and off social media. However the 4-time champion has taken a step further to show constant support to the rapper.

Addressing the incident at this year’s Grammy’s, Shaq revealed that media should not interfere with personal issues regarding a celebrity. Although that is exactly what his co-host Nischelle Turner did.

After ‘picking a bone’ with Turner in a recent podcast, Shaq concluded by saying it is family business between Cardi, her husband, and his brother.
