Did American comedian Jack Black compare a cricket player with Michael Jordan? Black is renowned for his roles in popular movies such as Shallow Hall and King Kong. While he is lauded for his every performance, his recent unusual words left NBA fans in disarray. 

As he compared his favorite cricket star with Michael Jordan, the GOAT of the NBA, the comment brought another string of equally unusual opinions from the fans. Let’s take a closer look at what happened.

Jack Black compared Michael Jordan to Virat Kohli

It is not every day that we see the legend of the NBA, his Airness getting compared with a sports person who rules in a different arena. About over three decades ago, in 1989, golf’s GOAT Tiger Woods stated, “I might be sort of like a Michael Jordan in basketball. Something like that”.  Woods was just 14 years old when he said the above words. 

There are several more instances like this. However, the recent one is the most baffling. During an interview, Black spoke about the $120 million rich cricket player. Let’s take a look at his comment. He said, “Virat Kohli is my favorite cricket player, he is the Michael Jordan of cricket”.
