JJ Redick has become a very relevant name in the media business over the years. In fact, as per a recent list which was prepared based on fan votes, Redick was declared the most favorite ex-player turned TV personality. However, before that, he was named among the finest talents representing the league. In a career spanning over 15 years, Redick represented several franchises. Although he went ringless by the time of his retirement in 2021, his talent could never be underplayed. One franchise in particular, specifically their fans are pissed off over one of his recent comments.

A while ago, Redick, while watching one of the LA Clippers games, had something to say about the trophy painted on the court. Redick represented the Clippers from 2013 to 2017, so he believes that he can talk about his ex-club. While looking at the painted trophy, the 39-year-old was confused because the Clippers have actually never won a trophy. This comment didn’t sit well with the fans and they took him up on it on the internet. Responding to the trolls, Redick recently posted, “I made a Clippers joke. I?m allowed to.”

It was heartening to see the responses to his post were mostly positive. Backing Redick over his response, several fans said that he didn’t even need to address this.
