Seton Hall’s valiant effort to extend their impressive five-game winning streak came to an end in a heart-stopping clash against Creighton. The Setons had showcased their mettle in previous victories, defeating then-No. 23 Providence, then-No. 7 Marquette, and earlier in the season, overcoming UConn when they held the No. 5 ranking.

Kadary Richmond recorded 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Al-Amir Dawes and Dre Davis also contributed significantly, each scoring 21 points. Despite Creighton’s six-point surge in the second overtime, the Pirates tied the score at 83-83.

Commending the Bluejays, coach Greg said, “I’m just really proud of our guys’ resolve. … Like I told the team: I’m not sure how we lost it, and I’m not sure how we won it.” He added, “For them to stick with each other and finish how they finished on both ends of the floor is a real credit to this group.”
