NBA legend Kobe Bryant was not always a Nike man. The 5x NBA champion initially endorsed Adidas and had an interesting signature shoe line. However, the relationship between Bryant and the brand went sour. The Los Angeles Lakers legend then signed with Nike and created one of the best sneaker lines. After Kobe’s passing, his wife Vanessa Bryant continued the relationship with the $167 billion worth brand after initial disagreements. Now, she has come up with a major tribute for her husband collaborating with Nike and the fans are excited.

After falling out with Adidas, Kobe wanted out of his contract and even paid around $8 million to buy his contract out. He then had to wait one more year before signing a deal with another brand. Safe to say it was worth the wait as he joined hands with Nike.
