When debating who’s the greatest player of all time people often choose the player that dominated their own era. A fan of the 90’s might choose Michael Jordan as the greatest while a more recent one might argue over LeBron’s G.O.A.T credentials. Regardless of their personal opinions, the subjective nature of the question hardly provides a conclusive answer. While this dispute continues to tear fans apart there is one query that usually yields a unanimous answer. Who is the toughest player to have ever played in the NBA?

Kobe Bryant is the most common answer one will find when asked that question. Spending his entire career suiting up for the Los Angeles Lakers, the shooting guard was a master of the mind and a mentality monster. A clip showcasing this very mentality recently did rounds of the internet, as the Black Mamba was seen locking down a prime LeBron James.

In a recent video posted to Instagram by a handle named ‘sportsuniverse123’, Kobe Bryant was seen backing his 1-0n-1 abilities as he was questioned on facing LeBron 1 VS 1. During the clip, a reporter could be heard asking Bryant, “Who would normally win in a 1-on-1 between you and LeBron?” To which Bean confidently shrugged off the question stating, “I win.

Shaking his head as to disapprove of the question the Philly native continued, “That’s what I do. That’s easy for me“. Explaining that he grew up playing 1 VS 1 basketball the LA Lakers legend believed that it was his “thing“.

A great passer, he plays an all-round game“. Continuing to dissect why he was the better player Kobe believed that he was a 1-on-1 player at the core. Confident in beating LeBron the 5x NBA champion reiterated his point stating, “I do that in my sleep.
