Milwaukee fans finally got to witness the Dame Time. Damian Lillard hit a buzzer-beater 3-pointer against the Sacramento Kings to give the Milwaukee Bucks a one-point lead and close out the game in style. After one of the best clutch moments of this season, the entire Bucks roster joined Lillard in the Dame Time celebration.
The performance didn’t only win over the fans and his teammates, even some veterans of the game were amazed by the feat. Chandler Parsons couldn’t stop praising Lillard for what he showcased in the last few seconds of the game.
On the Run It Back show, Parsons was asked if there was anyone that he would rather take the last shot instead of Lillard. He said, “I don’t think so. I mean…he’s done it over and over again. He did it directly in my face for my last game ever with the Rockets in the playoffs. “Although Parsons named a few other players for their different strengths, he said, “I’m going with Dame [Lillard] 10 times out of 10, because the guy is clutch.”

Lillard was in an incredible flow throughout the game, scoring 29 points with 8 assists and 4 rebounds. He was also the highest scorer for his team. However, the moment of brilliance kicked in with only seconds left on the clock as he was running toward the bucket. With the buzzer about to go off, Dame had to go for the three-pointer from way out and he made it. This also accounted for his first game-winner for the Bucks since his arrival in Milwaukee. However, he wasn’t the only one who put up a good performance against the Sacramento Kings.

Lillard was joined by the other half of the Freak Time duo, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak dropped a triple-double on the Kings with 27 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds, perfectly complimenting Lillard’s performance in the game. Two other players on the Bucks scored 20+ points: Malik Beasley with 23 and Bobby Portis Jr. with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
