One of the many teammates of Garnett made a claim, snubbing two Celtics legends. The 2x NBA champion claimed that Kevin Garnett was the ?most unselfish player? he played with. Rajon Rondo has played with a few of the biggest names in the NBA. In a podcast with JJ Redick, Rondo shared his admiration for one such player who he thinks is the most ?unselfish? player he played with. During his time with the Boston Celtics, Rondo played with Ray Allen, Pau Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. However, despite the age difference of ten years, Rondo considered KG to be his best teammate.?
?I could possibly say he probably was my favorite teammate. Only thing I would hesitant because of the age difference. You know, I think ages almost maybe 10 11 years old of me.?
?Rondo recalled Doc Rivers?s comment on ?The Big Ticket,? claiming him to be the most selfless player on the court, not just in sharing and passing the ball but also the willingness to help his teammates.
?I remember Doc made a comment it was a couple years we were playing together, and he was talking about how unselfish he’s the most unselfish player on the team.??
The 2x NBA champion additionally stated his observation that KG was not a ball-hog like Paul Pierce and Ray Allen in the team; he always kept the team above him.?
??He never complained about getting the ball. You know Paul Ray wanted the ball all the time.??
