It’s a busy time for Shaquille O’Neal. The NBA legend, broadcaster, businessman and entertainer is occupied with his EDM career. He dropped a new track while gracing music festivals as a DJ. He remains an unstoppable force at work. But the gentle giant will always take time out of his schedule for a gesture of kindness. His recent act has come to the notice of internet users, much to their admiration.
Shaq’s philanthropy is bigger than his seven-feet frame. And though he’ll flaunt his larger-than-life style, he often keeps his generosity on the down-low. But the law enforcement in Texas believes his kindness deserves to be highlighted.

A routine traffic stop turned awry for one Harris County Sherriff’s Office deputy. Joseph Anderson was shot on August 16 while on duty. He made it to the hospital on time and is on the mend. The 29-year-old officer has received an outpouring of concern and support since Texas news outlets broke the news.
Harris County Sheriff, Ed Gonzalez provided an update on his colleague on Twitter. He revealed that Anderson is on the mend and in a great mood since all the love that he received. A supportive message from an unexpected person played a big part in it.
The one who shared his support to the injured deputy is NBA legend, Shaquille O’Neal. He sent him an encouraging message privately. It wasn’t publicized until Sheriff Gonzalez disclosed it.

He wanted me to convey his appreciation for the outpouring of support from our citizens, his agency teammates, and colleagues from all agencies.”
He further added, “He asked for continued prayers for a speedy recovery. I drew a huge smile from him when I shared a personal video by @SHAQ. wishing him all the best. Great gesture by Shaq and much appreciated.”
It’s unclear what O’Neal told Anderson. Perhaps the deputy would show it off once he’s back to work.
