LeBron James vs. Michael Jordan is a never-ending debate that we might never get an answer for. However, it has come to a level where even veteran NBA players have started to fight about it. In yet another episode of this famous battle, former Miami Heat star Michael Beasley and New York Knicks icon Nate Robinson took sides, but it ended on a brutal note, where the two hurt each other’s feelings on social media.
Michael Beasley, who has played with LeBron James for two seasons, has been an ardent fan of the King when it comes to basketball. He made his case for the G.O.A.T. debate, but he also took a jab at the Michael Jordan fans. Beasley shared on ‘The OG’s’ podcast, “I feel like people that say ‘MJ is the GOAT’, no disrespect, y’all just holding on to old feelings… How you gonna sit here and say he[James] is not the best ever? “. Well, this struck a nerve for Nate Robinson.
Robinson replied to Beasley’s comments, “Stop smoking w***, the reason we say the JO is best b/c we have eyes and can see his game is just better bro it’s ok, we know ur a Bron fan and that’s ok, but JO made every human on this earth wanna be like mike lol and wear his kicks, I still haven’t seen one human wear Lebrons with jeans or any regular outfit lol.” Well, Beasley was not going to hold back either. He decided to remind Robinson about his stinging defeat to boxer Jake Paul that happened three years ago.

Robinson succumbed to Jake Paul via a second-round knockout in 2021, which had the fans questioning the former’s decision to start boxing. It was quite a humiliating experience for Robinson, according to many, and Beasley used it to mock him.
Miami Heat legend Michael Beasley
Robinson might have the support of many netizens on the internet, but Beasley was backed by a former Miami Heat star. Udonis Haslem, who hosts ‘The OG’s’ podcast, believes James is better than Michael Jordan as well. He replied to Beasley’s remarks through an Instagram comment on the above post to side with his G.O.A.T. verdict. Haslem has played alongside James for four years, from 2011 to 2015. Both of them played a pivotal role in delivering two championships there. So Haslem has watched the ‘King’ close enough to take a stance on this debate.

As mentioned above, this is a debate that never concludes. Sadly, the friendship between Beasley and Robinson has taken a hit, too, in front of a large audience. However, a debate is a debate. It mostly ends on a bitter note for both parties arguing. Anyhow, we would like you to pick one between MJ and LeBron. Who are you going with?
