“Stepping Into 2024…”: Dwyane Wade Pens Cryptic New Year’s Resolutions in Deeply Personal Note

Dwyane Wade is showing how to do New Year’s Resolutions in style. If you want to stick to your ‘New Year, New Me,’ affirmations, do it like D-Wade. The NBA legend shared the process on Instagram, though he’s keeping his resolutions for 2024 mum. He’d like to know his fans’ resolutions for this year though.

“Stepping into 2024 intentional with my goals and areas for personal growth. Share some of your New Year goals below,” he captioned his Instagram post.

For his part, he is seen in his custom ‘DWYANE’ robe by Versace, cozy with a glass of wine while he writes his new year’s resolutions on the first page of a diary. His mood music for the same was Stormzy’s “Hide and Seek.”

One of the most fashionable NBA stars out there, Dwyane Wade’s connection to Versace goes way back. Apart from having an eponymous eyewear collection under the label, he had a (fake) unpaid internship with Donatella Versace.

He’s given his followers a stylish pep boost to take up self-care in the new year. Several replied to his post with their resolutions to put themselves first.

Dwyane Wade puts family first 365 days

In the buildup to 2024, Gabrielle Union said she hasn’t made a New Year resolution in 20 years and doesn’t plan to do so anytime soon. D-Wade and his diary of resolutions are the opposite. They’re both, however, united in keeping their blended family together.

The holidays have been all about the Wade family. From their fun parties for their kids to Thanksgiving with the whole brood, they pulled out all the stops. This Christmas, The Flash played officiant instead of player at the family’s Christmas games of giant Jenga and Connect 4. They gifted their youngest child, Kaavya, a trampoline though Union needed to be kept in check by the five-year-old.

They had separate celebrations, too. Union partied with her famous friends at Kim Kardashian’s bash while Wade had to drop by TNT. It appears that New Year’s Eve was relatively low key for the fam as Wade privately made his plans for 2024. How would you respond to his question on Instagram?
