He marked this occasion by holding a special concert at the Dolby Live indoor amphitheater located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The arena was filled with many cheerful fans and music enthusiasts, including an individual whom many were surprised to see: Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

American entrepreneur Scooter Braun took to his official Instagram account to upload a post about the evening. It featured the exciting moment that took place during Usher?s concert when the singer highlighted the NBA legend for the rest of the audience members. During the same, he highlighted the special gift that he had received from the Bulls star.

In the midst of the crowded arena, Usher didn?t fail to catch the eye of one particular individual who made a rare public appearance just for him. Michael Jordan himself was in the house! He wasn?t alone though, as his 16 years younger wife Yvette Prieto joined him during this rare occasion. Jordan making a personal appearance wasn?t the only gift that the six-time MVP gave to the singer, though.

According to reports, His Airness gifted Usher a pair of the rarest Air Jordans that have hit the collector?s market: The Usher Air Jordan 3. Launched almost 9 years ago, with reportedly only 10 pairs in existence, the sneakers share a distinction from the other Air Jordans. They are covered with a metallic gold coating, except for a black leather collar lining present on one part.

The shoes were created to honor the singer, as the flashy sneakers are something that perfectly go along with his signature all-black performance outfits. Usher was reportedly first seen donning the iconic sneakers during a 2014 commercial he shot for Honey Nut Cheerios. Having been presented with another pair recently, it seems like he boasts more pairs of the Gold Jordans? than anyone else on the planet.

Michael Jordan and Yvette Prieto’s appearance was nothing short of special for Usher, who paused in between to highlight the six-time NBA champion for the rest of his fans.

?Given to me personally by Michael Jordan who?s in the house tonight,? said Usher, as the audience united in letting out loud cheers. The ?given to me? comment might have been a reference to the personal gift that Jordan had given Usher for his birthday right before the concert.

Jordan took in the cheers while he was seated and pointed a V sign towards Usher. After the singer told Jordan to ?get on your feet?, His Airness stood up and let everyone in the audience get a glimpse of his presence. The loud cheers and claps only intensified from there on. Usher continued his praise for the NBA legend by stating, ?I want to be like Michael?. MJ let out a laugh and proceeded to return to his seat.
