Globetrotting adventurer, Shaquille O’Neal revealed his travel stories and preferences to GQ recently. Frequent flyers already find tight cabin spaces cramped. Traveling as a 7-foot giant is unimaginable. But Shaq painted a painful picture.

He solved his agony by skipping the hassles of commercial flights and renting private jets. With his growing list of parallel careers and international travels, Big Diesel made a huge upgrade. He’s now the owner of a luxurious private jet fit for him and his entourage.

When asked what he did on the “Shaq plane,” his answer was surprisingly lowkey. “I have a couch, so I definitely take a nap, get my rest on. Other than that? Business. Or I’ll sit up there and make beats. Whatever I feel like doing.

O’Neal added a second private jet to his collection this year. The Bombardier Challenger 650 comes with a $27 million price tag. It probably made it convenient for DJ Diesel’s summer tour between music festivals.

Mile-High Shaq is busy too

When he was a student at LSU flying home in Texas, Shaq made friends with airline staff. He’d show up early so his airline friends would let him have his pick of the seats and he’d naturally take the extra legroom of the front row. No such trouble on his private jet.

O’Neal can travel on his schedule and bring his entourage along. His fitness trainer, Roc Shabazz is among the frequent flyers and he gave a glimpse of Shaq lazing in his expensive plane. Some of Shaq’s in-flight social media posts also show him having fun with his friends.
