The NBA is a fascinating place. Thousands of aspiring basketball stars fight hard to be drafted into the NBA to be amongst the rare group of top athletes. Apart from the bragging rights an athlete gets of being in the NBA he also benefits from the rather lavish pay cheque that he gets. Shaquille O’Neal was caught expressing his surprise as a certain NBA star can potentially have the biggest contract in NBA history.
Having graced the court for a number of years, Shaq happens to be on the list of the highest-paid NBA stars in their careers. With rising money in the game, he was taken aback when he found out that an NBA star could sign a contract much bigger than his entire career earnings.

Shaquille reacts as Oklahoma star set to sign the biggest contract in history
It was reported that Jaylen Brown signed a five-year $304 million deal with the Celtics. It is officially considered the biggest contract in NBA history. Yet, days after this news broke out, CBS reported that a certain Oklahoma City Thunder star might be signing a contract worth much more than what Brown signed.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a 25-year-old point guard who’s proven out to be an asset in the league. Last year he was averaging a massive 31.4 points per game. CBS reported that Alexander is close to signing a deal worth around $400 million.
