“Should Have Used He’s Married to Gabrielle Union”: Epic Failure in $100,000 Stint Draws Humble Dwyane Wade’s Hilarious Response

Dwyane Wade is one of the most well known basketball personalities in the world. Not only because of his achievements on the basketball court but also his life outside of it. Notably, he’s married to Hollywood personality Gabrielle Union. In a recent guessing television game, a contestant was asked to guess the term Wade. And the associations that came with it caught the eye of the 3-time champion.

The $100,000 pyramid is a word association game. The contestant has to guess a few terms in order to win $100,000. Dwyane Wade’s last name came up on the show and the contestant tried but failed brutally to make his partner guess the name. Wade took to social media and gave his take on the matter.

A contestant on the game show $100,000 Pyramid had to make his partner guess the term WADE. He said, “He was a basketball player. His first name is Dwyane. He was on the Miami Heat.” While most basketball fans would spring into action at this point, his partner couldn’t catch on.

The contestant continued, “That’s hard. It’s a county in Florida. Pass. Pass.” Any hooper would have guessed the term but seems like his partner is not a ball fan at all. The clip going viral on social media did reach the Miami Heat legend and the man gave his take on the matter.

Wade wrote, “Should have used he’s married to Gabrielle Union or he’s the father of Zaya or Kaavia James.“

Dwyane thought if the man would have referred to his famous Hollywood wife then probably he would have won the guessing game. He even claimed that his daughter would’ve helped his partner figure out his last name.

There is some truth to this. After all, Zaya Wade, Dwyane’s 16-year-old daughter achieved quite a massive feat recently.

The Flash’s teenaged daughter Zaya Wade walked her first ever fashion runway for the brand Miu Miu.

Wade and Union have been vocal supporters of Zaya in the past couple of years. Dwyane shared the post on his social media handle with his millions of followers. The 16-year-old was dressed in chic yellow coat and skirt with a grey shirt on.

The Miu Miu collection created a ton of buzz with Zaya donning their stylish ensembles. It’ll be interesting to see if Zaya leaves a similar mark in the fashion world as his father did in the NBA.
