While Taylor Swift and Drake do tours with a heavy NBA influence, another name has captured the music industry’s attention. Embroiled in a heated feud with her own fans, Doja Cat has seemingly abandoned ship. However, according to our favorite resident NBA couple, the move is justified. While Larsa termed the move “self-sabotage”, the son of Michael Jordan thinks it’s a necessary change.

Breaking down the entire thought process, the duo is back with another episode of Separation Anxiety.

Michael Jordan’s son thinks it’s important for artists to change

So far, through more than 10 episodes, the pair of Larsa and Marcus Jordan has served some delicious podcasts. Whether it be details about their own relationship or experiences in the NBA world, the duo takes on all comers.

However, at the same time, they’ve also kept up to date on happenings from around the entertainment industry. As a result, their opinions on particular subjects, become easily available to their fans. So, it was only a matter of time before Doja Cat’s name came up on the show.

Marcus went first, explaining why he found the change necessary, “But I feel like, as an artist… you never stay the same. Most artists that stay the same get left behind and somebody else comes along. So, you gotta allow some artists their room to be themselves.”

He even drew a comparison to Ye, “I feel like Ye is like that… From where he first started to obviously, where he’s at now, there’s been a huge transition and journey… Allow artists to be themselves… I’m rocking with Doja Cat… I support her, I like her doing her thing.”

Even Larsa continued in a similar vein.

Larsa, too, stands with Doja

While she was extremely against Meghan Markle and her journey, Larsa is surprisingly in solidarity with the Grammy Award winner, “I kind of feel like she’s biting the hand that feeds her, but I feel like she’s at that place right now where she wants to, like, self-sabotage.”

The ex-wife of Scottie Pippen explained her stance, “She wants to, like, just really push the envelope… Do things that are not normal. She’s winning but I feel like she can win and not be so…”

Perhaps the added attention can further enhance her career as well. Regardless, the discussion regarding Doja Cat was another pristine example of the couple’s camaraderie and raw honesty. While not going too far, the two clearly explained their stance on the matter.

As a result, the podcast, and the duo, have been thriving.
