It looks like Shaquille O’Neal had every right to question his TNT co-host Charles Barkley about sliding into DMs. With a humungous fan following of more than 34 million on Instagram, there’s no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers legend is fond of social media. Well, here we are with another episode of Shaq sliding into someone’s DMs and this time, it was a famous music artist who was stunned to get a text from the 7-footer. 

From one DJ to another, Shaq decided to get in touch with the famous EDM star ALLEYCVT, a rising sensation of the bass genre. Oddly, the 4x NBA champion sent a picture of him with a duck on his head, which the young music star shared in her story. That was a rather unique attempt to slide into someone’s DMs, but surprisingly, it has worked.

She shared, “Just casually getting a DM from @djdiesel with an ALLEYCVT duck on his head…(what is life)”, which Shaq added to his story again. Clearly, the young DJ was as starstruck as anyone would be. However, what’s to be noted here is the techniques that the 52-year-old is using. It’s safe to say he was teaching the same to Philadelphia 76ers legend Charles Barkley a few days back.

The Chuckster shared an Instagram story where he was listening to Shaq’s lessons about online messaging. The 1993 MVP joined social media just a week ago, and now he already has a mentor. On top of this, the Big Aristotle was testing Barkley’s knowledge about social media on live TV. Although he did pull Barkley’s leg by asking him to tag OnlyFans, Shaq was also kind enough to teach the Sixers icon off camera.

The famous ‘Home Depot girl’ aka Ariana Josephine, who went viral for her TikTok, got a sudden DM from the 2000 MVP last year. Josephine was facing backlash for her derogatory remarks about OnlyFans users, and Shaq decided to back her up. He sent to Josephine, “Don’t let them people bother u…don’t read them comments…have a great day and tell your boyfriend hello lol”. That’s one way to start a conversation! 

The 15x All-Star also dropped into famous American actress Kerry Washington’s chatbox once. When questioned about a famous person sliding into her DM, Washington said, “Um, Shaq, Shaquille O’Neal”. She also mentioned, “He’s a big ‘Scandal’ fan. He’s always like, ‘I’ll do anything for Command”.
