The ‘Change my mind’ meme applies to Shaquille O’Neal because the giant isn’t going to budge on one opinion – he and Kobe Bryant were the best duo in NBA history. He’s not open to arguments, he’s not listening to other opinions, he’s doubling down. Unprompted, O’Neal put it out there on his Instagram for his 34 million followers to see he ranks above his idol, Michael Jordan at least in one regard, thanks to the Black Mamba.
“even with all these legends me and my guy @kobebryant is still and will always be the #mostdominantonetwopunchever . yes i said it and i stand on it #g14classified. #nodisrespect just how i feel. thank you have a great day may god continue to bless you all,” Shaq stated on Instagram.
By “all these legends,” he meant the Michael Jordan-Scottie Pippen Chicago Bulls dynasty, the often-missed LeBron James–Kyrie Irving tandem, and the Kevin Durant-Stephen Curry GSW combination.

O’Neal, who ripped off Chris Tucker in Rush Hour to validate his self-gained credentials, has once again flaunted his G14 classification to cement his claim. A few days ago, he called out Chris “Mad Dog” Russo on The Big Podcast declaring that as a former athlete-turned-analyst, he had the G-14 classification to give his opinions on sports.

The G-14 classification is a fictional movie creation but Shaq has repeatedly used it to validate his status as a sports media personality. He claims this elite badge can get him into meetings with the president and it also makes his claim valid about the best duo in NBA history.

Shaquille O’Neal’s G-14 opinion applies in outer space
His opinion isn’t new. One of the rare bards in the athletic world, he rhymed about his partnership with Kobe in Rick Ross and Meek Mill’s track, “Shaq & Kobe” with Dame Lillard. In the same track, DJ Diesel said, “I find ’em, I remind ’em.” Remind, he does.

At the end of 2023, Shaq said in one breath, “Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal is the most dominant duo in 2K, on the Internet, off the Internet, outer space, amongst aliens, amongst earthlings.” Unless any of the other duos play on Mars, his opinion stands.

Fans aren’t refuting his claims much. However, some are deviating to the LeBron-Kyrie duo and insisting it be replaced with the LeBron-Dwyane Wade duo instead. Which duo do you think is up there with Shaq and Kobe?
