The larger-than-life NBA star Shaquille O’Neal always extends his unwavering support to his family. This support extends to his ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson as well. On multiple occasions, the 4x NBA champion has publicly apologized for ruining his marriage with ‘The Basketball Wives’ star. But we have hardly heard from Shaunie about her highly publicized divorce and family life with the Basketball Hall of Famer. Well, that’s all about to change. The mother of 5 recently made headlines by announcing the launch of her book, titled ‘UNDEFEATED: Changing the Rules and Winning on My Own Terms’.
Through social media, her Twitter fans and 1.8 million Instagram followers fans have been graced with glimpses into her journey, finding motivation and inspiration in the quotes she shares. Shaunie Henderson opened up about writing on her past relationship
After tumultuous ups and downs, the duo decided to end their relationship back in 2009. Part of it is also encapsulated in O’Neal’s memoir, ‘Shaq Uncut: My Story.’ While the Los Angeles Lakers legend has publicly confessed his mistakes, Henderson’s book might share some more unknown details.
However, sharing about her life, which includes O’Neal, wasn’t easy for Henderson either. Opening up about it to People, she admitted to being nervous. “I’m literally telling my story and my journey, which he was a part of. So I’ve always been a little nervous about that, but I think I did a good job at sharing my story without destroying him because that’s not my intent at all, ever,” said Shaunie Henderson.
