Away from the hardwood, Shaquille O’Neal is a big-hearted personality. During his playing days though, the 7-footer was as fierce as he looked and would not give an inch to any opposition player. Michael Beasley recently recalled a similar encounter with the Big Diesel. It caused him pain but now he laughs about it. He meant it “in the best way possible” when he blurted out “Shaq b*tcha**” even though it gave Udonis Haslem a jump scare.
During the latest episode of ‘The OGs’ podcast, Michael Beasley spoke about his GOAT and shared a funny Shaquille O’Neal story with his former teammates UD and Mike Miller. Beasley recalled playing at the 4 against O’Neal and how it cost him once. “We was in Phoenix and on the baseline and I don’t know why Shaq thought I was this big… But I was just trying to fight for the rebound so I go reach man, Shaq do this – ‘Clear out man’. That elbow was in my neck.”

The blow was so impactful that it caused Beasley to black out. He continues how 6 minutes later Shaq asked him how he was. But at the time he couldn’t speak a word. Beasley recalled trying to utter a few words and all he could create was some disturbing noises. Which broke out the laughter during the podcast.
Even though he was throwing elbows 15 years ago, Shaq has certainly turned over a new leaf now. The 4x NBA champion doesn’t crack ribs anymore, he tickles them.

Shaquille O’Neal fun challenge that backfired
In a viral Instagram reel, Shaq announced the million dollar dunk contest. Somebody had to dunk over Shaq to win that big amount. And within a few seconds that challenge was completed, leaving O’Neal embarrassed.
“Big Najia” rose to the occasion and performed the seemingly impossible feat. He made 7’,1” Shaq look smaller. The Nigerian Abiodun Adegoke is 7’11”. So dunking over Big Diesel looked like a child’s play.
