Talking about his inspiration, he said, ?I just wanted to play because Kobe played in it, Michael Jordan?.those the best players so you gotta do what they do?

He stated how he was influenced by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant to join the team. And Edwards is quite confident in his decision. Not only that, he seems to follow Jordan?s playing style as well. Numerous fans have stated how Edwards’ playing style and pattern are eerily similar to Jordan’s. Like his predecessors, the athlete is all set to make his own name on the global platform. And it seems he is already doing it.

According to Team USA coach Steve Kerr, he is undeniably the best player on the roster. His performance at the warm-up games has already attracted people?s attention. In his recent game against Germany, he led the Team USA with 34 points.

Even NBA analyst Perkins awarded him a new name as he said, “Ladies and Gentlemen I think we may have found the FACE of the NBA!!! I believe his name is Anthony Edwards! Happy Sunday and Carry the hell on?”
