It looks like Reggie Miller can wear his Pacers uniform once again, considering the way he is moving around with his mountain bike. While many retired veterans just want to enjoy the old life, Miller chose mountain biking as his next sport after basketball. Well, this is not just a hobby for the 58-year-old, but a competitive tradition where he participates in the ‘Quick N Dirty Mount Bike Racing’ every year.

After nearly two decades of practicing, Miller has finally found an answer for all his hard work and sweat. He is not only in his best shape but also has same the competitive mindset he displayed during his career. It looks like the 5x NBA All-Star is all set to hunt for trophies once again.

Ever wondered how Miller looked so fit and thin in a blazer on TNT? Well, MTB is the only reason. Surprisingly, the Pacer’s all-time leading scorer started cycling way back in 2002, even before he put an end to his NBA career. Anyhow, this MTB is no joke. This is a 100-mile race which will have your “butt cheek hanging” towards the end.

While it is an achievement to even complete the race, Miller secured fourth place in the latest edition to show us why he is a superstar. The Indiana Pacers icon shared on his Instagram, “What a way to finish my 2023 race season by a 4th place finish”. As mentioned above, Miller also joked about his butt cheek hanging in the last 2.5 miles of the race.

He also thanked his “TEAMIES” for suffering with him. “Bit of rest now before 2024 training commences,” he wrote at the end of his long message.

Before the race in 2022, Miller took the time to explain the difficulty behind MTB. He shared in an interview, “This course will humble you very quickly, so have some type of shape before you come. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll enjoy it, you’ll suffer, but it will be well worth it.” Sadly, Miller couldn’t secure a place last year. Anyhow, he has redeemed himself now.
