Brown was recently on Broken Play when he was asked for his pick in the Super Bowl. The ex-Los Angeles Lakers star said, “I went for Kansas City because of Taylor Swift. I knew the whole narrative. They want to see that boy kiss that white girl in Super Bowl…I ain’t crazy.” Brown is confident that the Chiefs will be crowned next Sunday, and the Taylor angle only adds to the value of their win. He said, “Man, they’re gon’ win the Super Bowl. They want that last kiss. That’s why I’m going for Kansas City all the way.” Kelce’s relationship with Taylor has brought so much more attention to the game. The downside is that the criticism is also on the rise.

Travis Kelce has had enough of the outside noise

After months of listening to the same narrative, both individuals decided to speak up. The Chiefs tight end said, “As long as we’re happy, we can’t listen to anything that’s outside noise. That’s all that matters.”

“I’m not going to say what was said, because that’s what they want. I’m not going to relay it, but some things were said about the family”, he added. As for Taylor, she barely even knows what the people are complaining about. She told TIME, “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
