There are a lot of things NBA great Shaquille O’Neal has accomplished in his legendary career. However, the 51-year-old has expressed one thing he hasn’t been able to check off from his bucket list. That’s where his kids come in. His eldest son gave him a much-needed nudge to spread his wings in more ways than one. And he was glad to share his dad’s major moment.

While there are not many occasions that could top winning NBA championships or performing at a music festival in front of 80,000 people, Big Diesel is closer to a big dream. It comes shortly after he hilariously confessed his fears about it.

Only a few days ago, Shaquille O’Neal got candid about his incomplete bucket list. The accomplished NBA legend has tried everything possible. However, he stopped short of skydiving. Given his 7’1″ stature and current 351 lbs weight, Shaq was worried if a single parachute could make his landing on Earth softer.

After disclosing his close attempts to try, Myles O’Neal shared the biggest update on his dad’s airborne adventures. Taking to his Instagram Stories, Myles revealed Shaq in complete skydiving protective gear. Big Aristotle is posing inside an indoor skydiving chamber, dwarfing the very slim entrance.

Big Diesel’s small nervous smile is the highlight of this snap. Myles didn’t provide context about the picture so it’s unclear if Shaq has tried the indoor flying experiment before or after it. It could be a throwback to 2015, which was Shaq’s second time indoor skydiving and he was tremendous at it.

Shaq’s mom didn’t come through

O’Neal bared his bucket list of dreams last month, mourning his initial attempts to try skydiving. He went about it before his current weight loss journey when he was around 400 lbs.

The instructor said that the parachute could hold up to 350. So Shaq offered an alternative. “My mom, she sews. She can sew two together.” Fortunately for his well-being, his mom, Lucille, was not up to the task. “It’ll be just my luck that mom didn’t feel like sewing that day. And then I’ll be all the way up there and then the thing just rips in half. So I want to make sure that everything’s in order before I go up there.
