Allen Iverson’s birthday wish for his daughter Tiaura Iverson could bring anyone to tears. The NBA veteran recently posted a long, heartfelt note for his daughter as she celebrates her birthday. Referring to himself as an “Old Lion”, the 48-year-old poured his heart out in that birthday post.
Iverson is a father to five kids and his eldest, Tiaura celebrated her 29th birthday on December 16th. AI talked about his unconditional love for her and made a promise for a lifetime.

AI has had a troubled childhood, but he has always ensured that his kids get to experience life like any other parent would want for their kids. He has always been a hands-on father and often boasts about his kids on social media and during personal interactions. Iverson wrote, “When you read this post I want you to know how much I TRULY LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.” The NBA legend said that he hopes she believes in herself as much as he does. “When life tries to knock you down. “This Old Lion” will always have your back,” he continued.
So his daughter’s birthday is indeed a very special moment for the 11x NBA All-Star. He further wrote, “I can’t promise to be here for the rest of your life, but I can promise to LOVE YOU for the rest of mine.” The emotional father concluded his message with “I’M PROUD TO BE YOUR FATHER. Happy 29th Birthday Honey Boo Boo!” and a really cute picture with Tiaura and a slideshow of the moments they’ve shared all these years.
