In a recent ‘X‘ post, a hilarious resurfaced video of Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley was shared by ‘The Sporting Page.’ The post’s caption reads, “Michael Jordan offers Charles Barkley a job to become the mascot of the Washington Wizards, circa 2000.”

In the hilarious video, the Chicago Bulls legend is giving a speech on the stage when he says, “A good friend of mine, who I am older than by three days, I feel like I’m a parent to him most of the time but he’s like a little brother to me.”

He further says, “Charles Barkley, who uh….”. As the crowd claps and cheers, he continues, “Who I’ve heard..uh..this is his last year. You’re welcome to get a job with us if you need a job, you know. We definitely need a new mascot in Washington so you’re welcome to come in.”

The hilarious resurfaced video shows the close bond that the two NBA legends shared. However, their friendship worsened as the years passed.

Both of them were part of the legendary U.S. Olympics team, famously known as the “Dream Team.” The two were often spotted off the court enjoying a game of golf or hanging around. The two also publicly talked about their close friendship. However, their friendship took a hit after Michael Jordan got offended by Charles Barkley.
