The Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets are back at Crypto.com arena to deliver another thriller, but before that, a famous NBA duo has made their predictions for it. Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce sat together for their podcast to choose a side in the above match-up. Notably, both of them made the same choice, but that was not the only highlight.

As the segment slowly moved towards a praise show for Nikola Jokic, KG addressed an online debate, where fans often compared the Nuggets champion to Lakers icon Shaquille O’Neal. Garnett wanted to first give ‘The Joker’ his flowers for belittling almost every team in the league at the moment. The Serbian sensation has now recorded a triple-double against every team in the NBA, and that left both Garnett and Pierce stunned.

Anyhow, when the conversation comes to Shaq and Jokic, Garnett wants to be old school. The 2008 champion shared, “What Joker is doing in our league is just…he is ripping the records apart…Right now Joker is more dominant than Wilt Chamberlin. They got motherf****** taking Joker over Wilt and Shaq.”

Anyhow, KG is not willing to do so. He continued, “Y’all a blow if y’all think I’m taking the Joker over Shaq. I love you, I love Nikola, straight up.” KG can say this because he has played against the Big Diesel multiple times. And on a few occasions, he agreed that Shaq has left his knees shivering. That’s how good of a beast Shaq was!

Although KG made the above statement, he refrained from comparing them any further. He just wants to live in the moment. Right now, he believes Jokic is the best in business. Also, this is not the first time KG has given Jokic his due credits. Every time, Garnett has something new to say about the 29-year-old. 

Kevin Garnett accepts Nikola Jokic is the “most humblest motherf*****” 

Nikola Jokic is not the one to celebrate or react, except when it comes to winning horse races in his hometown. Even after winning his first-ever championship at such a young age, the 2x MVP couldn’t wait to get back to Serbia. There weren’t a lot of emotions, no shouting, no flexing, etc., and that surprised KG. He shared after the 2023 Finals, “Joker looks like the most humblest motherf***** I’ve ever seen”.

We are all aware of how emotional KG was after the 2008 championship. Well, Jokic is the exact opposite! Garnett shared, “I’ve never seen a player who’s won the NBA championship, and he was just dormant. He was more into his daughter… It was the most humblest s–t I’ve ever seen.” The 2004 MVP has celebrated the modern superstars like nobody. While many would go on and start a comparison right away with the former stars, KG wanted to give the new generation their flowers.
