The hope for Washington Commanders took a hike when Magic Johnson purchased an ownership stake with the team. The 64-year-old’s experience as an owner is nearly unmatched. Apart from the Commanders, Johnson owns a WNBA team, an MLB team, and a MLS team.
Nevertheless, the Commanders stand 2-1 after their 3-37 defeat to the Buffalo Bills. Though it is just their first loss, things turn quickly in this tight game. Moreover, the 34-point difference is the highlight here as it stands as a warning for both Johnson and his men.
Johnson shared his thoughts on the game as well. He said, “The team didn’t play well against the Bills and we had 5 turnovers,” making it clear that he was unhappy with the Commanders’ performance.
However, Johnson’s childhood friend, James Stokes, was there to support him. With a bond that has lasted nearly five decades, the LA legend took the time to remember his nostalgic moments with Stokes.
