The Dallas Cowboys had a rough start to the season. After their recent loss to James Harden‘s favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers, last week, the Cowboys? Defensive Linebacker Micah Parsons seems unfazed and fully ?locked-in? for the upcoming games.

In the latest episode of his podcast ?The Edge?, the Cowboys? star talked about his feelings after the loss. Inspired by the Black Mamba, the Cowboys? star said, ?Resting at the end, not in the middle“. He further added, ?I am going to take my loss, but I am not going to stop. I am gonna keep coming. I am gonna keep believing and just keep trying to be better?“. Despite facing a loss last week, the Dallas Cowboys have a 3-2 wins/losses ratio and are currently 2nd in their division. Asking the Dallas fans to keep faith, Micah Parson says, ?It’s America’s Team for a reason? with a 5-word cry, ?Let’s make it America’s Team.?

The 24-year-old NFL star, like many sports athletes, takes inspiration from the late great Kobe Bryant. He was a trailblazer in the sports world and inspired generations of athletes to always work hard.

Not because of talent or ability?we were never satisfied, never finished and will never be retired.?. He further said his high school teacher had this beautiful quote, “Rest at the end, not in the middle.” This is what the basketball legend took to his heart. At the ‘ESPYs’, he had also announced, “My next dream is to be honored one day, to have inspired the next generation of athletes to have a dream, sacrifice for it and never ever rest in the middle.?
