The Chicago Bears fans are going through all sorts of emotions. The recent trade of Justin Fields has saddened as well as shocked the fans including Chicago Bulls analyst, Stacey King. Ever since the rumors surfaced, King has been making numerous comments on the matter. The retired NBA forward previously claimed that the quarterback is not even in the market for the trade. “He was never on the market,” said King on his X. While many prayed silently for the team to have patience with the 25-year-old, a few X users also stepped up to defend King’s statement. But things didn’t go as expected.

After Fields’ trade news, one fan called out the sports announcer for his previous claims. Taking a stand for himself, King wrote back to the fan, “Lose what my guy?  JF1 got traded so what professional sports is a business so I didn’t lose a damn thing… Funny some of y’all live for the fall of others and that’s why you never receive any blessings from the man upstairs! Change your ways and watch the difference it makes in your life.”

Justin Fields’ trade to the Steelers stunned the fans

The 25-year-old led the Buckeyes to back-to-back appearances in the College Football Playoffs. Then, he played in 40 regular-season games during his three-season run with the Bears and had 38 starts. Fans always had faith in the player’s leadership skills, but he just couldn’t do enough to meet the expectations as a passer. Fields had only one 300-yard passing game.

Numerous fans took to social media to express their anger about the trade. One fan on X wrote, “A 2025 6th round pick that potentially turns into a 4th for Justin Fields? MY GAWD, the Chicago Bears completely mismanaged the Justin Fields trade market this offseason.”
