The USC Trojans suffered a disappointing 75-91 loss to Auburn on Sunday. It was Bronny James’ first road game since his recent health episode. His father’s friends in the NBA were overjoyed to see him on the court on his debut and that trend continued tonight as well. This time it was Kevin Garnett who had words of wisdom for the 19-year-old.

The Big Ticket comforted him through loss with a simple message, “Take your time young fella.” He added the message, “Great to see…” to his Instagram Stories while sharing the messages Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade had posted for Bronny last week.

Before the Lakers’ game against the New York Knicks on Monday, LeBron James is focused on his son. In his first road game and his mom, Savannah in the audience, Bronny recorded 5 points and 2 rebounds in 14 minutes against Auburn in the presence of Auburn alum and NBA great, Charles Barkley. He made 3 of 4 free throws.

As many have noticed, the five-month absence has made it understandably difficult for Bronny to rediscover his rhythm on the court. Regardless, he’s found overwhelming support and veteran advice to take it easy. LeBron’s Miami teammate, Dwyane Wade had encouraging words after Bronny’s debut last week. “Watching Bronny walk out on that court gave me chills… Welcome back to the game you love Bronny,” he wrote on X. KG highlighted Wade’s post along with Kevin Durant’s message, “Welcome Back Bronny.

KG speculates about the possibility of a father-son NBA duo

USC freshman, Bronny, came off the bench for the first time since recovering from a cardiac arrest in the December 10 game. With his famous dad in the audience, he finished with 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals on a minutes restriction of 16 minutes, though he couldn’t tide the team over Long Beach State.

He’s building up to an NBA career and given that LeBron is still in his prime in his 21st year, KG speculated if he’d continue long enough to be his son’s teammate. On a recent episode of KG Certified, the Celtics’ best duo, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, could see it happening. The Truth even said that LeBron could keep playing till both Bronny and his little brother, Bryce could enter the NBA.
