The legacy created by Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan doesn?t just stop at the threshold of a basketball court. After he retired from the NBA, His Airness got involved with two major sports acquisitions. One of them is 23XI Racing, Jordan?s very own NASCAR Racing team. With the racing team gaining prominence day by day, many people wonder if the reason for its success is the presence of His Airness. A 2x NASCAR champion holds this opinion but also believes that the credit should not go entirely to the 6x NBA champion.
NASCAR reporter and television host Alex Weaver recently took to her official Twitter account to share a video with her followers. It highlighted a clip from the recent interview that she conducted with 23XI driver Tyler Reddick.

During the conversation, the topic of interest was shifted towards Michael Jordan. Weaver asked the driver if the ?boss man? was the one who set the expectations for the team. Reddick confirmed it by stating that since the individual is Michael Jordan, the expectations need to be top-notch. However, when talking about the ultimate factor that divides the $150 million team from its competitive rivals, Reddick gave credit to some of the other important team members.
The 27-year-old started things off by highlighting team owner Denny Hamlin. Reddick placed him on the same pedestal as Jordan for having achieved a similar level of success in his chosen field and using that to move 23XI Racing forward. Along with Hamlin, the ?five or six individuals in the shop? that helped to guide the ship forward also got a shout-out.
?This team pumps out two race cars onto the race track but not at any point does it feel like there?s two teams in the shop or three teams in the shop. It feels like one team,? said Reddick during the interview.
