Shaquille O’Neal got jealous after Stephen. A. Smith took his own time on his 40-minute podcast to fire harsh words at his ex-colleague Jason Whitlock. The ESPN employee did not mince his words this time, and he called Whitlock a “fat b******”, without any hesitation. While most of them were shocked at this sudden wrath from Smith, Shaq seemed to appreciate it. Well, this is because the Los Angeles Lakers champion can never do this. He has reasons for it too.

On his newly released podcast with Greg Owen, Shaq shared, “Imma tell you why he [Smith] gets the golf clap… I wish I could do that sometimes and I don’t do it because my mother is a church-going lady…Growing up early I put her through a lot.” Shaq shared that his mother took pride in him when he decided to listen to her words. His mom being proud of him, gave the 4-time champion a lot of happiness.

If Shaq had done something like Smith, his mother Lucile O’Neal wouldn’t be happy about it. However, there is always an urge for the Lakers MVP. He shared, “I’ve been waiting to go on a rants like that since the early 90s, 2000s”.

Why did Stephen. A. Smith call out Jason Whitlock with so much anguish?

The two were employees at ESPN. After they suddenly decided to lock horns over an issue, Smith wanted to part ways with him. Before signing a new contract with ESPN, Smith had one condition, and it was to never work with Whitlock again. Ever since, the two have called each other out time and again on various shows. It was a petty fight in the beginning, but it has blown out of proportion now. Smith had enough of Whitlock and he used his podcast to share some harsh words.

The ESPN icon shared, I’m a very forgiving person. Not with him…I hate this b******, far more than a little bit. He is the worst human being any of you will ever meet. You get within a mile of his presence, wrap your arms around yourself to protect yourself to protect your soul. … He is a devil. The worst. That’s all I have to say.”

Smith also said that no one would show up to Whitlock’s funeral, and that is because he set people to fail. The famous analyst had a lot to say, but this was the main picture.
