The Tonight Show with Jay Leno was one of the highest rated shows on the television making a Leno a household name in the USA. Turns out Dennis Rodman found himself a friend in the famous comedian.
Rodman crashed his motorcycle in the year 2003 when he was doing some tricks with his motor vehicle outside of an adult entertainment club. He injured himself in the incident and he was in the headlines of almost every national daily. He decided to make an appearance at the show hosted by the legendary comedian Jay Leno. Leno introduced him as the “new and improved Dennis Rodman.” The interview with Leno turned out to be great for Rodman as it helped him to clean out his public image.
However, Jay Leno was not the only one who helped out the Hall of Famer. Magic Johnson also came to his rescue when Rodman was looking for a team to feature for.

Magic Johnson comes to rescue of Dennis Rodman
When Dennis Rodman got sober, he reached out to Magic Johnson to help him find a team to play for. Johnson connected Rodman to the legendary coach Phil Jackson. Rodman signed with Long Beach Jam in December 2003. Rodman thanked Johnson and stated that his main aim was to perform and claw his way back into the NBA. Unfortunately, his comeback did not turn out in a positive way.
