Shaquille O’Ne…Oh wait, Tex Johnson is here with big breaking news on his 50-acre farm bet for an NFL prediction. The Los Angeles Lakers icon joined ESPN’s Stephen. A. Smith, not as Shaquille O’Neal, but as his alter ego, Tex Johnson, who is a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. We are on the last week of the NFL regular season and the big man has already made a pretty wild prediction ahead of the Super Bowl, which is a month away.

With a black cowboy hat on his head, activating his alter ego, Shaquille O’Neal proudly said to Smith, “I tell you what, I live on a 50-acre farm…in Texas. If they don’t win, if they[Cowboys] don’t win the Super Bowl, you can have my farm. Pulling out a white paper on the live call, Shaq added, “Listen, here is the paper to Tex Johnson’s farm. If we don’t win the Super Bowl…you can have the deed and the trust. It’s all yours.”

Well, a 50-acre farm sounds a bit bizarre. That might be nothing for Shaq, who is worth $500 million. But Shaq has had a bad experience by betting on the Cowboys previously. After his favorite team lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the 2022 playoffs, the devastated 4-time champion shared, Damn Cowboys! See what I gotta do Cowboy cause you couldn’t win?”. The bet was, Shaq had to wear a wig for a full podcast episode if the Cowboys lost. Sadly, he did not have a choice after things did not go his way.

Smith has disliked the Dallas unit for the longest time. However, the Cowboys have been top-notch so far this season. With an 11-0-5 record standing at the top of their division, their odds are indeed high. But there is the Philadelphia Eagles right beneath them with the same record. And that is why, Smith believes the Eagles have a great shot at the championship this season.

Eagles suffered a Super Bowl loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in February 2023. A few months later in August, Smith did not hesitate to choose the Eagles to win the Super Bowl this year. Jalen Hurts has been remarkable yet again this season and Smith’s prediction might turn out to be right.
