Even if you blink during one of Shaquille O’Neal’s commercials there is a high chance you will spot him again. That’s how he has kept his legacy going. Recently it was announced that Shaq will be joining hands with Home Depot for the upcoming March Madness marketing campaign. The campaign will include “Tips from the Tool Shaq,” a content series featuring content tying together basketball themes with common spring projects including “How to Protect the Paint” and “How to Clean the Glass.”
In the latest commercial teaser released by Home Depot, Shaq is seen doing DIY projects. From drilling to cleaning to polishing his trophies, Shaq is seen working really hard.

This project is not only for monetary purposes. Shaq has been a self-proclaimed Home Depot guy. His recent partnership involves the company helping Shaq build his own property in Georgia. It just won’t be another marketing campaign. There will be different videos that will explain step-by-step solutions. Plus “Tips from the Tool Shaq” will be available as well.

Shaquille O’Neal relying on Home Depot
Shaq’s upbringing was never easy, he always had to earn everything, because of his military family background. So Shaq is used to doing and building things for himself. He recalls his go-to Home Depot store is in McDonough. During an interview with Complex, Shaquille O’Neal gives more information on what to expect from this collaboration.
“But this campaign is always going to be about fun. You know Home Depot phrases and basketball phrases, kind of go side by side. For example, cleaning the glass, you know, stuff like that. So this series I’m doing, Home Depot is going to be called Tips from the Tool Shaq. And what I like about this commercial is that real people that work at Home Depot were in the spot with me. So it’s very cute. You know, sports fans and Home Depot fans are definitely I love it. ”
He was also asked what project he is undertaking in his personal project of 10 acres of land. Shaq said “I just built a guest house in the back of my house and I just bought the next door neighbor’s house, so I got 10 more acres. He was an older gentleman and his house is very old, so partner up with Home Depot to fix it up and it’s going to be beautiful. ”

Shaq has definitely hyped up the project and the teaser seems to back it up.
