The revelation was during the new billionaire’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The comedian was a little upset about being left out of their fancy vacation but he’s glad to extract some insider news from it.

Magic Johnson was on Jimmy Kimmel’s show recently where he got grilled about leaving the host out of a luxurious vacation he enjoyed this summer. Johnson and his wife, Cookie, were spotted sailing across Europe on his private yacht along with Michael Jordan on his own yacht.

The Johnsons and Jordans were spotted having dinner dates together in European cities. So Kimmel had to ask, “Who pays for dinner” between two billionaire NBA legends. This must’ve been a fight the two have had many times, though it’s unclear if they were avoiding the bill or the other way around.

But Magic Johnson says they have reached a compromise to settle this argument. “We actually flip a coin.” As all disputes have been historically resolved. And when pressed, he bashfully said, “Yeah, now,” indicating there had been some arguments over the check in the past.

Kimmel would leave Magic wheezing just by asking, “Whose coin is it?” Magic is either fibbing to make fun of his friend or exposing by saying the coin is His Airness’ with both his faces on each side. Does it mean Mike’s always paying?

This is an unsolved mystery as all the glimpses caught of the Jordan-Johnson dinner dates don’t show who paid. What fans and social media users did catch are two multi-hyphenates on their envy-worthy yachts. Even Samuel L. Jackson joined them for part of the European escapade.

Both MJs are part of the exclusive billionaire-athletes club. Speaking of their extravagant getaway, Magic said neither thought they’d be in this position. “To have yachts, to be able to go to dinner with our wives to be in Europe. It’s just more mindblowing to both of us.” As humble as he sounds, he gave the host a serious case of FOMO.
