What challenge can you even give to someone who makes full-court shots regularly? 5x champion Magic Johnson has found a unique one for Chef. Stephen Curry failed to make a single three-pointer in a game earlier this season as his 268-game streak came to an end. Anyhow, he has redeemed himself now with stellar performances in the last four games. The Golden State Warriors guard holds the record for dropping 7+ threes in four straight games now, and this caught the attention of the Los Angeles Lakers icon.

Johnson has been an ardent fan of Curry. He shared on his Twitter, “Congratulations to Steph Curry for becoming the first player with seven 3s in four straight games last night!” To spice things up, Magic gave the 4x champion a challenge as well. He added, “Let’s see if he can make it five when the Warriors tip off against the Jazz in a couple of minutes!” Looking at Curry’s streak, it is very much possible. He might also beat one of his own previous records.

Curry has a total of 36 three-pointers in the last four games. He had nine threes against the Los Angeles Clippers last game but couldn’t secure the victory. At this rate, he might beat his own record for most three-pointers in a month. Previously in April 2021, Chef hit 96 three-pointers which stunned the NBA. We are halfway through February now.

However, with the All-Star weekend taking place, the Warriors only play 5 times more this month. While it will be difficult, it certainly isn’t out of the reach of the greatest shooter ever. But his performance against the Jazz dashed most dreams of fans.

Did Stephen Curry continue his hot streak?

In a tight battle with the Utah Jazz today, the Golden State Warriors secured an important win in their volatile season. Shots were made from all over the court, but the 4x champion couldn’t maintain his streak. Curry shot a poor 25% from outside the line and dropped just two three-pointers against the Jazz. Well, looks like Johnson jinxed it.

Anyhow, we have the All-Star weekend coming up in two days. Curry will be facing WNBA’s Sabrina Ionescu for a historic three-point battle. Moreover, he is a reserve for ‘Team West’, headed by Lakers star LeBron James. We can see the 2x MVP continue his streak in it.
