As the teams faced off during their 5th regular season game of the year, the King?had a chance to break a losing streak.?That’s just what happened last night and the eldest child of Shaquille O’Neal and the legendary Magic Johnson shared their excitement as the Purple and Gold finally beat their rivals.

Despite their impressive showings, Kawhi Leonard (38 points) and Paul George (35 points) couldn’t overcome the Lakers. James displayed his trademark dominance, tallying 12 rebounds, 7 assists, and 35 points on 13-19 shooting.

Facing a multitude of injuries, the Los Angeles Lakers found themselves in a challenging situation, prompting them to rely on James to put an end to their lengthy 11-game losing streak against the Clippers. In fact, the last time the Lakeshow came out on top in this matchup was all the way back on July 30, 2020.

Myles O’Neal, the son of Shaq, was so amazed by James’ performance that he posted a unique celebration image on his Instagram. What’s fascinating is that someone photoshopped a picture of the King smoking a cigar. Instead of the cigar, the image made it look like LeBron was smoking the Clippers, symbolizing his superiority in the game.

Magic Johnson also shared his opinion on the Lakers’ 130-125 victory over the Clippers. Taking to his X account, Johnson wrote, “On a night the Lakers? two superstars had to be special, they were absolutely dynamic! LeBron James led the team with 35 points and 12 rebounds, and Anthony Davis added 27 points and 10 rebounds.”

In the overtime victory, D’Angelo Russell was also an important factor for the Lakers. He dropped in 27 points and 6 assists while Christian Wood came off the bench to notch a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Clippers officially welcomed James Harden

For their opponents, Russell Westbrook showed out with 24 points, 8 assists, and 11 rebounds. However, during the teams’ next encounter, it’s quite likely that James Harden will be in the lineup.

The LA Clippers recently traded away Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, and KJ Martin for the Beard.

With the addition of Harden to the roster, the team undoubtedly ushers in a new era. Yet, the lingering question is can Harden effectively steer the course in a new direction and bring about positive changes for the Clippers?
