NBA legend Kevin Garnett keeps himself in touch with the world of professional basketball, even after he retired 7 years ago. Despite having built a reputation of being a trash talker, Garnett is known for providing credit where credit is due.

The former player recently took to social media to promote a tribute for the one who may have left a long time ago but still remains a prominent part of NBA history.

Timeout Hoops, a basketball-based Instagram handle with over 896,00 followers, recently uploaded a post featuring two-time NBA champion Wilt Chamberlain. Featuring archived footage from Chamberlain?s 1959-1973 era, the video highlighted some of the player?s best moments.

From making high vertical jumps and breaking the defense to outmaneuvering his opposition, the former Los Angeles Lakers player was on fire throughout the clip. The video had a tagline in the middle which read, ?In the hands of a player who was bigger, faster, and stronger.?

A picture shown at the beginning of the post made a comparison between the 13? NBA All-Star and the former Dallas Mavericks player Dirk Nowitzki, stating that, ?Wilt was hitting Dirk sideways in the 60s.??

Kevin Garnett shared the post on his Instagram story as a way to promote the work of one of the greatest players that the sport of basketball has ever seen.

Garnett?s praise for Wilt Chamberlain comes only a few days after he took a stance in support of a Boston Celtics player who is in the spotlight.

About a week ago, 26-year-old Jaylen Brown signed a deal to continue playing for Boston for another five years. In exchange, he would be granted $304 million. The amount is more than any NBA player in the history of the sport has received as part of a supermax contract.

During a press conference held at the MIT Media Lab, Brown was asked by a journalist about his plans for the wealth which he is to receive within the next half decade. In response, Brown presented his goal of coming up with a project that will ?bring Black Wall Street? to the Boston suburbs, all as part of a strategy to tackle wealth disparity head on. The new jobs and businesses that will be created from the same will help people from the underprivileged background to accumulate more resources, he believes, to get the chance to live a better life.
