It’s not just Shaq but his 34.1 million followers are not ready to let it die down either. After slamming Kanye West for once again dragging his business partner into a rant, Shaquille O’Neal dipped into his philosophical side. He posted an introspective post on Instagram with no context.

They’re not mad at you. They’re mad it’s you,” the post read. It’s unclear what Shaq is referring to but most conclude that it’s about social media taking sides between him and Ye.

After some Super Bowl dramatics related to Taylor Swift, West praised his business partner, Dov Charney, and slammed Jamie Salter, the chairman of the Authentic Brands Group Shaq is the second largest stakeholder of. O’Neal posted a scathing comment telling West to “stop b****in and snitchin.” He also accused West of ignoring him at the Super Bowl instead of talking it out.

Yeezy name-dropped Taylor Swift in his song, “Carnival” before the Super Bowl. Swift reportedly got him removed from the suite across hers at Allegiant Stadium too. The exchange between Shaq and West ensued after that. But there’s more history between them.

Others were sure Shaq was referring to the whole beef and said, “Dawg leave Kanye alone lol stop.” If you go by this post, O’Neal is saying the commentary originates from both of their fame and not for what they’re saying.

YouTubers reacting to this debacle were even surprised that West, despite his controversial actions, has fans on his side who want Shaq to, “Leave YE out of this.” Others asked Shaq, “Y are u mean to Ye,” to figure out the origins of this feud.

There were some witty jokes unrelated to West too. Many referenced O’Neal’s flex life and were mad they didn’t get to hang out with him. Regardless, this comment from him is relatable and makes him “Shaquille O’Real.”
