Remember the infamous bold move rapper Gillie da Kid made by challenging Jamal Crawford to a one-on-one? It’s not even been a year since then and clearly, the dribbling maestro has not forgotten the rapper’s name. The challenge that turned into a good-cause-bet of $50,000 to the winner’s charity, never actually happened. But that doesn’t mean the 3x NBA Sixth Man of the Year moves on without showing his real talent.
In fact, the NBA legend continued to tease Gillie from the floor as he called him out on his social platform. Can we expect a response from the rapper in the form of the game now? Maybe. But until then, we can continue being mesmerized by Jamal Crawford.
In his humorous fashion, Jamal Crawford shared a video of him scrimmaging. Obviously, he couldn’t miss the chance to shout out the one name that everyone wants to see beaten. He captioned the now-deleted Instagram story, “Where is @gilliedaking at??” To add to the comical line, he also added three eyes emoji. Did he mean that everyone wants to see the two on the court?

He also posted two slides of videos where he is making the “cool” behind-the-back double bucket. Another one shows his dribbling talent that left his guard clueless as he makes another basket. He captioned this post, “I’ll play anytime, anywhere…” Again, this was an addition to his story wherein he reminds the rapper where he could go against JCrossover.

While many want this game to become a reality, others know that asking a professional baller to go against a “confident” citizen is not going to end well. However, like most fans already agreed last year, Jamal Crawford will obviously swipe the floor with Gillie.
Nevertheless, if it does happen, everyone can be happy that it was not for the boasting rights but to provide the winner’s charity with $50,000. Moreover, we have a video proving that the LA Clippers star is still on top of his game and even though he left the NBA, the NBA in him did not leave.
