There is a lot that has been said about the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, they keep giving people a reason to talk about them, and none of it has been in good spirits so far this season. They have been losing games, creating controversies, and have the fanbase in a state of confusion.
However, NBA veteran Vince Carter still has his faith in the Warriors. He thinks that they can still turn this around for the better, but they will need some major dedicated efforts from Draymond Green.

Carter was recently on the Run It Back show where he was asked about the Warriors. Discussing whether they can be counted out already for the season, he said, “You never can count these guys out.” However, there are some points that that have been made by the Warriors coach Steve Kerr. One of which is that their superstar Stephen Curry has been under tremendous pressure. That’s not something that a team that so heavily depends on him would want to know about. Unfortunately, that is the truth.
Regardless of Kerr’s comments, Carter still has a glimmer of hope. He said, “I think they are fragile right now and I think they need to find some youth in offense.” Carter said that they have a solid team with a lot of young talent available for rotation, but that talent needs to be utilized better. Carter said that they have a talented young man in Jonathan Kuminga, but they’re trying too hard to make him into the next Draymond Green which is only keeping them from utilizing his true potential. “At best, I think they’re going to be in the middle of the pack”, he added.

Carter said that Green plays a huge role in this team and that should be the expectation from him when he makes his comeback. As for Stephen Curry, he said that Green’s actions are “wearing Steph down” and that role needs to be reestablished with Green because he’s trying to balance on and off the court noise at once.
