Being an avid boxing fan, he has always shared his thoughts on different matches in boxing. Barkley has mentioned that his two favorite sports are football and boxing.

The UFC is doing something better than professional boxing

Bill Simmons asked Barkley about his opinion on what he thought the UFC was doing better than boxing. This led to Barkley saying, ?It?s just so stupid?. But what made Barkley say this?

Barkley and Bill Simmons were talking about how the best fighters in boxing rarely go up against each other much. Barkley added that the boxing world didn?t get some of the best matches it could have in the past 10 years. And, this is because boxers in their prime refused to face each other so that they could keep their undefeated record intact.

Barkley gave his props to the UFC because they don?t have this issue. In the UFC, the best fighters go up against each other every chance they get, and this provides the best matches for the fans.

Barkley has said that the best legends in boxing are those who have faced defeat in their prime and could then overcome the defeat and get their revenge. Barkley, being a boxing fan, always wants to see the best matches in boxing, like he did last week.

During the podcast, Barkley was asked about the recent match between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. The highly anticipated match put the undefeated records of both fighters on the line. The match ended with a TKO in round nine, where Terence Crawford got the better of Spence Jr.

Barkley commented he was surprised that Crawford won so easily. He then said that Terence Crawford was amazing in the fight. He further added that he felt sorry for Spence Jr. but was glad the two of them fought.
