Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan became the NBA’s star couple last year. The two often even teased a potential marriage when they were together. Although their relationship took a sudden hit a few days back, it looks like they are back together for Valentine’s Day. Whether they have buried the hatchet or remain separated, their next big decision will be very important. It could even result in a few changes to Larsa’s alimony that she is getting from Scottie Pippen.
The 49-year-old married Pippen in 1997, when the Chicago Bulls legend had won his 5th ring. Their divorce was finalized in 2021 after the legal battle went on for almost six years. Her marriage came to a sad end due to “irreconcilable differences,” but the RHOM star won big through alimony. From several reports so far, it is unclear if her new relationship with Marcus Jordan will affect her spousal support.
The two have dated each other for more than a year now. Anyhow, it will be interesting to see if there would be a change in the spousal money if the two decide to take their relationship to the next stage, which is marriage. After the divorce was finalized, Larsa got half of Pippen’s money from his 401k account until 2016, which was estimated at around $470,000.

During his 17 seasons in the NBA, Pippen earned $109 million. However, after the divorce, his net worth was stated around $20 million. In addition to all the above, the case got updated only last year so there is a good chance that Larsa is still getting alimony from the 6x NBA champion. The earnings of the mother of four from ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ and the alimony have now given her an impressive net worth of $10 million.

Larsa Pippen believes marriages coming to an end must be fair
While many dropped their jaw after Larsa secured a good amount in the divorce, she believes it is only fair. Last year, the 49-year-old started a podcast with Michael Jordan’s son called ‘Separation Anxiety’. She shared in it, “If I marry you and you have like a billion dollars, and you say, ‘By the way, I’m only going to give you $100,000 after 20 years, ‘You’re like, ‘Wait, What?’ It has to be fair; everything in life has to be fair.“
Scottie Pippen tried to amend the prenup. He tried his best to get relieved from the alimony duties, as it would cost him big. However, Larsa put up a battle against him in the court. Just like Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan also believes in prenups, and no wonder they make a good pair.
